The new PC
Yes, you heard it right, a PC. I still use the MacBook Pro, but there some things that I do where I simply need a PC. The desktop I got a couple years ago blew up when the power went down. The following morning, the tower wouldn't boot up. Bummer.
Now that I've got the BIOS updated, Vista updated, and cleaned off all the crap, including most of the crippling HP software (HP Wireless Assistant is a total joke...), it now works brilliantly! HP really needs to work on their "Assistants" - they make everything far more complicated than they really should. Microsoft actually did a great job with the wireless utilities. Why anyone would mess with it is beyond me.
